Fellowship Bible Church Dallas

Why Give?

We encourage giving as an act of worship.

  • It focuses our hearts on our true treasure which is Christ (Matthew 6:21)
  • It is an acknowledgement that God is the owner of everything. (I Chronicles 29:11-12)
  • It turns our focus from the idolatry of money to serving God (Luke 16:11-13)
  • It is an expression of our love for God and our devotion to Him.
  • It is born out of our free response to all He has done for us, not out of guilt or duty.(II Corinthians 9:7)

“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.” – Jim Elliot

  • It helps meet physical and spiritual needs of thousands of people who attend Fellowship.
  • It impacts people in our own backyard such as the refugee community in Vickery Meadow.
  • It helps support our church plants in other areas of the metroplex.
  • It supports our Global Partnerships in places like Sudan, India, Nicaragua and Germany.

General Fund Giving (7/1/16-6/30/17 Fiscal Year)

Fiscal Year-to-Date Giving Recieved

Fiscal Year-to-Date Giving Budgeted

Fiscal Year-to-Date Surplus/(Deficit)

The above numbers are typically updated by Wednesday of each week after the most recent Sunday offerings are counted and entered into our accounting system.  If you have questions or want more information about our current finances, please contact our Finance Director, Joan Curry, at joanc@fellowshipdallas.org or 972-852-4106.

NOTE:  We consider historical seasonality in giving patterns when budgeting for General Fund giving.  For example, December giving is typically as much as twice that of any other month. Therefore, budgeted giving as a percent of the annual General Fund giving budget may vary from month to month.
