I was born in Dallas and spent my childhood and early adult years in the Dallas area. When I was 27, a friend from work invited me to a singles retreat with her church group. The first time she asked, I imagine my response was very sarcastic. What I didn’t know is that they were praying for me by name on a weekly basis. A couple of days before the retreat, I asked if I could attend. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. The Lord showed me who He was and used His people to do so.
In 1995, I felt a call to ministry and moved to Tennessee to work in a Pregnancy Resource Ministry. After 6 years in Tennessee, this Texas girl had to come home. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working for two pro-life agencies in Austin and with Josh McDowell Ministries and Meier Clinics in Dallas.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve the leadership team at Fellowship Dallas. Being a leader is not an easy task, and I consider it an honor to assist with the administrative tasks so that the leaders can better operate in their calling and gifts.
