I think my passion for life and love of adventure and travel is rooted in me having lived in Ohio, New Jersey, California, and Texas all before the age of 12. This passion for life has led me to go sky-diving, bungee jumping, snowboarding and to spend three memorable summers in the Netherlands. I love to go backpacking and have escaped the city to hike part of the John Muir Trail, many of Utah’s slot canyons, and all over Europe. My love for sports has pushed me to complete two marathons, adventure races, and numerous football and basketball tournaments. I’ve yet to run with the bulls and am afraid of giving blood, and hope to never do both at the same time.
My greatest adventure is that of following God’s leading. Through every move and season, God has shown me a measure of His goodness. I’m most thankful for my family, my church home, and the friends I made there as a child; as God used those to draw me to a saving relationship with Himself.
I’ve been on staff at Fellowship Dallas since 2010 and currently serve as the Associate Pastor for Strategy and Ministry Development. I’m thankful to God to serve our church in a position where I get to apply my gifts, talents, and learnings from my studies in business at the University of North Texas Business School and seminary training at Dallas Theological Seminary.
Most Saturdays you can find me in Lake Highlands with my wife and two kids enjoying food on a patio, or coaching one of my kid’s soccer or basketball teams. At home, I love to listen to music or read a good book while drinking an Americano from White Rock Coffee.
