Randy ThompsonAssociate Pastor of Teaching and Equipping
I grew up in a Houston church plant my parents helped launch. At an early age, I was surrounded by people who loved God and loved others well. By the love of my family and my church, I was led to faith in Christ as a first grader. Since then, the Church has been a significant part of my life. Even when I failed to find a church family for a few years while at The University of Texas, I could sense the hole in my life designed for a Christian community.
Since finding a church home in my senior year of college, I’ve thrown myself into ministry at every opportunity. I moved back to Houston and began working full-time at my home church, serving in the student ministry for Junior High, College, and young adults. In 2006, Jennifer and I were married. And in 2007, I was ordained as a pastor at Houston Northwest Church.
My wife and I moved to Dallas in 2008 to attend Dallas Theological Seminary. As I finished school in 2012, I committed to full-time ministry at Fellowship Dallas. Since then, my wife and I have had twin daughters and, three years later, a son. We love the city of Dallas, the people of Fellowship Dallas, and the tremendous privilege of serving here as we seek to lead people to Jesus Christ and discover their God-given purpose in Him.
