Day 14

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one

Pray for God to be the voice you allow to lead you.

What leads you most often? God does not lead us to sin, but He knows that temptation is all around us. We are often led by our appetite, need for approval or our ambition. Today, confess which of these leads you most often away from God. Pray that God’s Word would lead you today, not your own desires.

How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Through your precepts I get understanding;
therefore I hate every false way.

Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
