And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one

Pray for defense against a temptation in your own life

What is a temptation you are facing today? Name that temptation to God. Now pray in faith and pray for eyes to see that God will provide a way out as He has promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13. And when you are feeling tempted, reach out to another believer for support!

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
