Make a huge difference by “adopting” a refugee student!

The uncertainties of the upcoming school year bring new challenges for every child and parent, but it’s going to be especially difficult for our refugee neighbors. With language barriers and financial hurdles, these families need help with school supplies—and we’ve got a few great ways for you to get involved!

1

Adopt a Student

Make a child’s year by purchasing their entire school supply list and backpack. This is a great way to ensure that the children in our community get the supplies they need—and it’s a great option for individuals or Life Groups! Each of the students listed is part of a family involved with our Refugee Connect Initiative or one of our partner refugee churches. Click the button below to see the list of students, view their school’s supply list, and sign up. (Once on the page, be sure to copy and paste the link into your browser to see their supply list.)

Also, save the date for Saturday, August 8, from 10am-12pm. We’ll be having a drive-thru drop in Fellowship’s North Parking Lot off where you can donate your purchased supplies. We can’t wait to see you there!

2

Buy General School Supplies

If you can’t adopt a student, you can still help! We’ve put together our own school supply lists on Amazon that you can order for students in need. Click the button below to check out the lists.

3

Make a Financial Gift

The third way to get involved is to give to a designated fund we’ve created specifically for this initiative. Every dollar you donate goes directly to these supplies. To give, simply click the button below!
