regathering on campus

Come Worship Jesus with us in Person!

PHASE 2 STARTING NOVEMBER 15

We’re so excited that we’ll be opening up our kids and student ministries and welcoming back on-campus Life Groups starting November 15! Watch the video from Kurt and scroll down to learn more about what “Phase 2” looks like at Fellowship Dallas.

why phase 2?

The longer the global pandemic goes on, the more clear it is that we have to find ways to go about life as well as we can while taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to avoid getting and/or spreading the virus. We’ve also experienced the harmful consequences of people being isolated, lonely, and disconnected during this season. As the church, we must balance on the one-hand the need to keep people safe from COVID while on the other-hand the need to relieve the suffering associated with not gathering over such a long period of time.

That’s why, after much prayer and counsel, we’re moving to Phase 2 of our regathering plan. Thankfully, Phase 1 has gone very well! As has been true during Phase 1, if situations change for any reason, we know we can quickly return to Phase 1 or even to 100% online only if we need to.

Campus Safety Protocols

we’re prepared for you!

Let’s all do our parts to making Phase 2 as successful as Phase 1. The most helpful way to ensure a safe campus is by your own self-assessment. If you’re feeling ill, have been exposed, or have had a fever in the past 14 days, we ask that you join us online.

Face Coverings

Everyone kindergarten and older will be required to wear a face covering at all times while in the building, even while singing. While we know this isn’t anyone’s preference, we want to show love to our neighbors by being as safe as possible. We will have extra face coverings available at the front doors if you leave home without yours.

Social Distancing

Social distancing protocols will be in place from the moment you step inside. Once in the Worship Center, seating will be every other row with three empty seats between each family unit or party.

Restrooms

We’ll monitor restrooms, making sure they stay under capacity. Every other stall will be blocked off and touchless faucets have already been installed.

Touchless Experience

To limit points of contact, only the North entrance will be unlocked and those doors will be wide open. We’ll also have offering boxes in each venue in lieu of passing the offering. Instead of handing out worship guides, use the Fellowship Dallas app for all the latest info and sermon notes. Additionally, we encourage you to greet each other from a distance instead of handshakes or hugs. Get creative!

Coffee + Water Fountains

Coffee will not be served and water fountains will be turned off. You’re more than welcome to bring a beverage with a lid from home, though!

Sanitization

Our facilities will be deep cleaned during the week and our staff will be cleaning surfaces often on Sundays. Hand sanitizer will also be available throughout the building. We encourage you to sanitize your hands as you enter the Worship Center.

Fellowship Kids

Children birth-5th grade

Watch the video to see how our Kids ministry team is preparing to make Sundays an awesome experience for your kiddo.
Space is limited so be sure to register your child before arriving. Plus, download the ChurchCenter app for a touchless check-in process once you arrive!

Registration opens Sunday, November 8, at 11am • Questions? Email Kids@FellowshipDallas.org

The Ark (Birth-Pre-K)

All children birth through pre-k will be in the Ark. Classroom space will be limited to maintain proper distance, so be sure to register in advance! Children will be encouraged to wear face coverings, but it won’t be required. Snacks and activities will be individually packaged, and instead of having Large Group time, the lesson will be shown via video in each individual classroom.

Volunteers

Our dedicated volunteers are here to share the love of Jesus to your child, and they’ll be required to wear face coverings in all areas. Medical screenings will be done in advance to ensure each volunteer is healthy before ever entering the classroom.

Registration

Registration is required so that we can ensure that each classroom is under our maximum capacity. Registration for each service will open the Sunday before and will remain open all week until a class reaches capacity.

The Treetop and Route 45 (Kindergarten-5th Grade)

To maintain social distancing, these classrooms will be modified for each child to have their own space. Children will also be required to wear a face covering for the duration of the service. Snacks and activities will be individually packaged and each child will receive a lap board to use as their personal work space. Kids in these areas will go to Large Group, which will be set up to maintain distance.

Snacks and Water Bottles

We’ll provide the goldfish in each area, but please send your child with their own, labeled water bottle so we can keep them hydrated without spreading any unecessary germs.

Check-In

To make check-in easier and safer, download the ChurchCenter app before arriving. Once you download it, search “Fellowship Dallas” and enter our location “Dallas, TX” or “75231” and you’ll find our church. Simply select the service you’re attending and the child(ren) you’ve registered, and you’ll receive a code you can scan once you arrive.
