Prayer Prompt

“Lord, guide me and instruct me as I build relationships with those around me and learn how to best care for them. Enable me to be bold and to take the next step in being the neighbor I am meant to be. Give me courage and discernment as I open my doors and share the love of Jesus with a lost and hurting world.”

Scripture Passages

“For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people, which comes from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven.  You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News.”
Colossians 1:4-5

The Lord says, “I will make you wise and show you where to go.  I will guide you and watch over you.
Psalm 32:8

“Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?  But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed.  “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.  Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.  But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience.”
I Peter 3:13-16
