Born in Washington, DC, and raised in a pastor’s home, I accepted Christ at age 7. I truly believe God gave me a heart for the local church at a young age. At age 11, my family moved to Atlanta, GA, where my father was a pastor at Fellowship Bible Church Roswell. During my teenage years, the Lord allowed me to see my need for His grace and gave me a desire to share that grace with others, especially with a heart for international missions and evangelism.
While attending Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI, I realized my dream of playing college basketball and was also given opportunities to serve God through teaching and preaching but a diagnosis of bone cancer, at age 19, interrupted my life. I lived with parents in Austin, TX, during 13 months of recovery.
I was able to go back to school and graduate from Texas State University, where I had the incredible blessing of serving on staff at Crosstalk Student Ministry; witnessing hundreds of students choose to put their faith in Christ was an absolute joy. During this time, I met my sweet wife, Laura. Her smile lights up a room and she is a true partner in ministry.
Both Laura and I are currently attending Dallas Theological Seminary. While looking for a church home, God lead us to Fellowship and even better, has given me the opportunity to serve as the Young Adults Director of Fellowship and call the next generation into their God-given purpose.
