In junior high, while on a church beach retreat, I declared Christ as my personal Savior. My faith in Jesus became more than just something my family believed and my church taught—it was now something I owned for myself. This led to an even greater passion for the church and inviting others because I wanted them to experience Christ, His church, and community.
God orchestrated my college journey by introducing me to my husband Ben my freshman year while attending a different university. The next year I moved to Arkansas to attend the same college at John Brown University, where I received a degree in worship ministries. We graduated and moved back to Dallas in 2009 and married that August. As newlyweds, we helped launch a startup church and eventually found our way to Fellowship Dallas in 2012. Our family has since grown to our two dogs, Max and Parker, daughter Grace, and soon to be baby boy.
My two words are “Arranging Joy.” I love creating experiences for people to find joy, whether it be here at Fellowship Dallas or my home. Ben and I loved to host family and friends with lots of food, fun, and laughter. You’ll also find me on Pinterest or decorating something because I can’t help myself! I love creating beauty and arranging things because it reflects our creator and radiates the creativity and order of God.
As the guest experience director and events coordinator, I am passionate about creating beautiful spaces and environments that help welcome people into our church and ultimately into a relationship with Jesus. I’m driven by working with others to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus so that Fellowship feels like home to our guests. I want others to love our church as much as I do and to feel welcomed here!
