David Lincon Custodial Services Supervisor
My Story:
I was raised in Dallas and have lived here my whole life. My early life was filled with a whole lot of brokenness, abuse, and pain. At eighteen, I decided I had enough, so I left home. I spent the next two decades trying to figure life out on my own. This led me down a dark path full of alcoholism, anger, and drug/sexual addictions. Fed up with the way my life turned out, I loaded my weapon and was ready to eat a bullet. In desperation and feeling I was at the end of my rope, I cried out, “God if You’re real, show me because I can’t do this anymore!” Although I didn’t hear an audible response, the desire to end my life was replaced with an unexplainable pursuit to find God, and that ultimately led me to Fellowship Dallas.

After that moment, I completely surrendered my life to Jesus, and I’ve never been the same. Christ took me from just merely existing and surviving to living a full and whole life in the arms of my Savior. My life has been transformed in ways that I never could have imagined. I’m a better father (of three) because of our Father’s compassion and love for me. I praise God on a regular basis because now my children know Jesus as Lord and Savior too. My prayer is that the generational sin that has plagued my family will be buried with me.

My Purpose:
My two words are “Influencing Generations.” I want to live a life that is worthy of the gospel and marked by Jesus’ fingerprints all over my words and deeds. I believe that, by living life this way, I’ll be able to have a positive influence for Jesus on people of all ages.

My Job:
I’m so thankful that God is using my attention to detail and a heart to serve others in a very creative way. As the custodial services supervisor, I want both members and visitors to walk into a neat, orderly, and clean building. God has used this church to help change me and I want to provide a welcoming space to share that with others. Thank you, Jesus!
