I was born in the Bronx, New York, but at the age of four, my family and I moved to Copperas Cove, TX, which is where I grew up. I have two older brothers, so that makes me the baby of the house! (which has its perks!) I was raised in a Christian home and the Word of God was and still is, the foundation on which we have built our lives.
Since a very young age, music has always been an important part of my life. I’d pick up an instrument, and whether I knew how to play it or not, I would definitely try. During my middle school years, I joined the band and my love for music was met with the ability to actually play. Thanks to God, I now play several instruments and that has opened doors for me—including here at Fellowship Dallas.
As I began to develop my craft in the area of music, I knew that I loved music but I didn’t know why it was just worship music. I later learned that it was something that God was stirring in me and figuring this out, I joined the Praise & Worship team at the church I grew up in. I volunteered for years in the Worship Department until I moved to Dallas in August of 2017.
Since a young age, I knew that God wired me for worship. I want to make sure that the moments of worship aren’t moments to spectate but to truly seek the Lord and encounter him. Through my role here at Fellowship, I have the opportunity to help create that environment.
As worship assistant, I have the opportunity to help lead our church family in worship alongside our incredible worship team. I also work hard doing administrative duties to ensure a welcoming and engaging Sunday morning worship experience.
