I was born in Columbus, Ohio, spent my elementary years in New Jersey and southern California, but I’ve spent most of my life here in Dallas. No matter where our family lived, adventure, laughter, sports, and music were constants in my life.
Another constant in my life has been my relationship with the Lord. God used my loving parents and the people of his church to draw me into a saving relationship with Himself through Jesus in my early childhood years. Since then God has always provided me with great friends, mentors, and church family to daily remind me of His immeasurable love.
While on mission in Mexico and the Netherlands, I caught vision of how God could use my gifts, talents, and experiences for His glory. Since then I’ve sought to orient my life to his purposes, and it has proven to be a journey far greater than I could have ever asked or imagined. Currently, I live in Lake Highlands with my wife and two kids, where I love to drink good coffee, read a good book, and coach my kid’s soccer teams.
My two words, “Navigating Renewal,” capture God’s unique call for me to help bridge the gap between what is and what could be. The Bible says anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person, “the old things passed away, and the new things have come.” (2 Cor 5:19) It is in these words where I find the meaning to my two words. No matter where I am or who I’m with, I want to help people bridge the gap between what is and what one day could be.
As the associate pastor for strategy and ministry development, I advocate for the programs and people of Fellowship Dallas to be aligned with the unique God-given purpose for which we have been called. One way I do this is through overseeing our Training Experiences, including Repurposed.
