You’d be surprised to know that before accepting the position here at Fellowship Dallas as the Life Groups Pastor, my family (wife Melodie and three boys) and I lived in Scotland for four and a half years, where I was able to complete my PhD at the University of Aberdeen. Living in the UK was a great experience full of football (soccer), rain, the freezing cold, and embracing the Scottish culture.
I was six when I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior while visiting my Aunt and Uncle in California. Later, I rededicated my life to him at the age of 14. While completing my bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, I experienced an intensely personal call to ministry. It’s been a completely unpredictable journey through the ups and downs of church ministry ever since.
I’m convinced that God wants to use me to minister, study, teach, and write, and I’m excited that I’ll get to use those gifts and passions to help develop our life groups and their leaders.
